The metaphor of blood is beautifully used to symbolize his own pains, sufferings and struggles bathing in which made him clean, pure, reinvigorated and strong. This hook has been sung with a lot of feeling by the singer carrying out the display of such emotions intensely. 2. जो वफ़ा न कर सका मैं वो शख़्स हूँ, पल हूँ मैं जो गुज़र गया, जो नज़र से गिर गया मैं वो अश्क़ हूँ, हूँ चमन जो बिखर गया, jo vafaa naa kar sakaa mai.n vo shaKHs huu.n, pal huu.n mai.n jo guzar gayaa, jo nazar se gir gayaa, mai.n vo ashq huu.n, huu.n chaman jo bikhar gayaa, The poet accepts the fact that he could not love anyone with that much faithfulness and so, he is passed like those moments gone-by. Now, the poet uses the metaphors of the phenomena of tears trickling down from eyes as equivalent of him being looked down upon by others as if he has fallen out of favour in other’s eyes. And, he sadly notes, he is like a garden’s flora and fauna that has withered and scattered aimlessly. This way he is like that proverbial bird of cherry blossom spring season, who is no more when finally, the good results of what he did during his lifetime are to be reaped by the world.
